Shincheonji Church Begins the Year by Sharing Life

The beginning of a year often comes with plans and resolutions.

But for the Shincheonji Church of Jesus Seoul James Tribe’s Seoul Church, the first step was not a promise.

It was action.

A quiet act of service.

A simple decision to donate blood.

First Blood Donation Campaign at the Seoul Eastern Blood Center

A Morning of Volunteer Work

On January 30, the church held its first blood donation volunteer campaign of the year at the Seoul Eastern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross.

Members gathered early, not for an event or ceremony, but for something more meaningful — life sharing through blood donation.

This small act connects strangers, families, and patients in hospitals who depend on a steady blood supply.

126 Members Participated

A total of 126 participants successfully donated blood.

Some people were unable to join due to iron deficiency or cold symptoms, yet their willingness reflected the same heart for service.

Because community service is not only about numbers — it is about intention.

Eight Years of Consistent Blood Donation Service

The church shared that its volunteer group has continued blood donation service for eight years.

Year after year, they have steadily participated in blood drives, practicing:

Blood donation volunteering

Community support

Life-saving charity work

Local service activities in Seoul

Their goal remains clear — to provide practical help where it is truly needed.

Support Remembered During the COVID-19 Crisis

The blood center expressed appreciation, recalling how the Seoul church stepped forward early during the COVID-19 period when blood supplies were critically low.

At a time when donations decreased nationwide, their participation offered meaningful support.

Sometimes, timely help matters more than anything else.

More Than a Church Event

For Shincheonji Church, this was not simply another church program.

It was described as:

Respect for life

Love for neighbors

Volunteer service for the local community

A culture of sharing and giving

And this campaign marked the starting point for continued service throughout the year.

Not loud.

Not dramatic.

Just people helping people.

And sometimes, that is how lives are saved.

Shincheonji Church continues blood donation and community volunteer service in Seoul.
